Man United & Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha
The Sun on Sunday go big linking Man United with Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha.
Zaha helped the Eagles beat Huddersfield on Saturday in the Premier League.
The Ivory Coast international won a penalty which lead to Palace’s 1-0 win.
This season Zaha has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League.
Should the Palace forward leave Selhurst Park this summer?
According to the Sun, Man United may re-sign Zaha in the off-season.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s last ever signing at Old Trafford, Zaha has already experience one failed spell at the Red Devils.
Man United’s Wilfried Zaha clause
Zaha moved to Man United back in 2013.
He spent two years on the books at Old Trafford without ever breaking into the team.
After loan spells at Cardiff and Palace, Zaha rejoined the Eagles in 2015.
The Sun have now revealed that Man United secured a significant clause on Zaha’s next move when they sold him:
SunSport has learned Manchester United get a 25 per cent cut of the profits of his next move, as part of the terms of his transfer to his former club Crystal Palace.
And that means the Red Devils will get the 26-year-old on the cheap should they want to reunite him with the manager that revived his career during a loan spell at Cardiff.
You’d have to question the likelihood of Zaha moving to United this summer.
While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is sure to add fresh faces, does he really need another attacking wide-man?
Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial and Jessie Lingard are already battling for places in the team.
Added to that, 26-year-old Zaha is under contract at Palace until 2023.
