Manchester United star Antony Santos has taken to social media on Friday, to issue a response to his widespread detractors.
The name of wide-man Antony, of course, took its place centre stage in the headlines across the continent late last night.
This came after the Brazilian piqued attentions courtesy of the following piece of showboating during United’s Europa League meeting with Moldovan outfit Sheriff:
“Embarrassing!”

The reaction to Antony’s actions, in turn, proved to be altogether mixed, with stout defenders of the summer arrival at Old Trafford having questioned why he should not be allowed to express himself on the pitch.
Others, including former Red Devils standout Paul Scholes, however, tore into the 22-year-old in frankly ruthless fashion:
“It’s not skill or entertainment, it’s just being a clown!” 😂

And now, as alluded to above, Antony himself has spoken out regarding the situation for the first time.
“We’re known for our art and I won’t stop doing what got me to where I am!”
A defiant message from the former Ajax man, who is expected to feature from the off once more when Manchester United welcome West Ham to Old Trafford on Sunday evening.
