Supporters of Premier League giants Manchester United have taken to social media in their numbers on Thursday evening, to single one member of Erik ten Hagβs squad out for special praise.
The Red Devils, of course, are currently locked in action.
Amid a timely recent upturn in form, United have made the trip to Moldova, for a Europa League group stage meeting with Sheriff.
Ten Hagβs troops headed into proceedings in the knowledge that a three-point haul was an absolute must, on the back of an opening day defeat at the hands of Real Sociedad at Old Trafford.
And, as things stand on Thursday, all three points is precisely what the eveningβs visitors are headed towards.
After Jadon Sancho opened the scoring at the Zimbru Stadium in style, Cristiano Ronaldo put the Red Devils all but out of sight with his sideβs 2nd shortly before the interval, notching his first goal of the campaign in the process.

Instead, this honour has been reserved for a member of the Redsβ engine room setup.
The player in question? Scott McTominay.
Taking to social media in their absolute droves, the United faithful have singled Scottish international McTominay out for deserved adulation, amid the widespread agreement that the oft-criticised midfielder has turned a corner under the watch of new boss Ten Hag:
Genuinely every game McTominay gets better, heβs unreal

Been one of McTominay’s biggest fans since his debut, always said just needed the right partner along side him.

Casemiro really needs to settle in fast and start performing if heβs to replace Mctominay in the starting 11. Thatβs a line I never though Iβll type in my life. Madness.
