Man United fans continue to express concern over form of one player during Omonoia clash

A frustrating night for the Red Devils has spilled onto social media

Supporters of Premier League giants Manchester United have taken to social media in their droves on Thursday evening, to call into fresh question the form of a key member of the club’s squad.

Erik ten Hag’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.

Turning their attentions back towards matters on the continent on the back of a 2-1 downing of Everton at the weekend, the Red Devils have welcomed Cypriot outfit Omonoia to Old Trafford, for a Europa League group stage clash.

The evening’s hosts headed into proceedings eyeing an altogether more comfortable night’s work this time around, after stuttering to a 3-2 triumph in Nicosia this day last week.

To this point, though, United have struggled once more.

With 45 minutes on the clock in Manchester, the scoreline remains locked at 0-0, with Neil Lennon’s Omonoia, for the most part, holding their own.

Amid understandable frustration on the part of the part of all associated with the Reds, it should therefore come as little surprise to hear of several members of Erik ten Hag’s squad being singled out for deserved criticism.

And one such player to have endured a less-than-impressive outing thus far comes in the form of Diogo Dalot.

Portuguese stopper Dalot, of course, enjoyed a fine opening to the campaign, quickly establishing himself as the undisputed first-choice right-back at Old Trafford.

Recent weeks, though, have seen the Portuguese international’s performances take a turn for the worse.

And, evidently, such struggles are quickly developing into a real source of frustration for those of a Man United persuasion:
