"Man of the match" - Chelsea star singled out for praise after first-half heroics

Chelsea being held by Brentford

A much-changed Chelsea are currently being held to a 0-0 stalemate by Brentford at half-time, with the Blues very much on the back foot.

Thomas Tuchel opted for a very different line-up to his usual Premier League side, in part due to injury and illness, handing debuts to three Cobham graduates, Harvey Vale, Jude Soonsup-Bell and Xavi Simons.

However, it is the Bees that have been on top, having come close on several occasions as they seek a semi-final spot, and a potential Wembley trip for the second season running.

Praise rolls in for Kepa

During the first-half, there was one man that Chelsea fans singled out for particular praise, reserve shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who has found himself playing second fiddle to Edouard Mendy this season.

However, he has pulled off some key saves to keep the Pensioners in the tie, and the Chelsea fans have not let that go unrecognised:

Can the Spaniard challenge Mendy for a starting spot?
