The Sky Blues and Reds will face off in one of two all-Premier League showdowns

The draw for the fourth round of this season’s Carabao Cup was unveiled a short time ago, with one tie, in particular, having firmly stolen the headlines.

The final fixture of the EFL Cup’s third round, of course, was played to completion a short time ago.

The clash in question saw Manchester United get revenge on Unai Emery’s Aston Villa, recovering from a goal down en route to an eventual 4-2 triumph.

The Red Devils, in turn, have been tasked with a meeting with Championship table-toppers Burnley in the competition’s next round.

Elsewhere on the Premier League front, Wolverhampton Wanderers will go toe to toe with surprise package Gillingham, Southampton are in line to take on Lincoln City, Nottingham Forest face a tricky trip to Blackburn Rovers, whilst Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion will both be on the road, too, in respective showdowns with MK Dons and Charlton Athletic.
