Man City training photos hint at Erling Haaland status for Fulham clash

The 22-year-old looks primed for an imminent return to the pitch

The latest photos stemming from the training ground of Premier League champions Manchester City are set to pique widespread attentions across the English football landscape.

This comes with the Sky Blues’ star performer across the season to date having been spotted back amongst Pep Guardiola’s ranks.

The player in question? Erling Haaland.

Hitman Haaland, of course, has enjoyed a scintillating opening few months in England, en route to an eye-watering 22 goals in just fifteen appearances.

It therefore came as a blow to not only the Citizens, but Fantasy Premier League managers across the globe, too, upon word arriving last week that Haaland was set for a spell on the sidelines.

Owing to a foot injury suffered against ex-club Borussia Dortmund, the Norwegian was forced to sit out both City’s hard-fought downing of Leicester City, and ensuing triumph over Sevilla in midweek.

On Thursday evening, though, the news which those of a Sky Blues persuasion were less-than-patiently arriving has finally arrived.

This came in the form of photos stemming from the club’s training ground, in which Haaland can be seen back amongst the first-team setup.

The prolific frontman, as a result, is widely expected to mark his return to matchday duties versus Fulham at the Etihad this coming weekend.
