Man City & Liverpool stars show support for Jadon Sancho after social media return

A whole host of high-profile names from across the English football landscape have moved to show their support for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho on Friday tonight.

For those not aware, wide-man Sancho, earlier this evening, reactivated his official Instagram account.

The 22-year-old grabbed headlines back in November, in removing all of the posts from his platform, as well as blacking out his profile picture.

This came amid a rough stretch of form, which culminated in both heavy fan backlash, and Sancho being omitted from England’s travelling squad for the Qatar World Cup.

The talented attacker’s profile had since remained ‘blacked out’, as he worked towards rediscovering the correct mindset to begin contributing at Old Trafford once more.

And, after marking his return to the pitch against Nottingham Forest earlier in the week, on Friday, Sancho has followed suit with a return to social media.

In a message to all who have stuck by him through what no doubt proved the most challenging stretch of his career to date, the Manchester United star posted the following on Instagram:

‘Wow! Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone for the support i’ve received over the past few weeks especially to the fans. My focus is to give my all to my team and the club, I’m so happy to be back out on the pitch, see you soon.’

And Sancho’s outreach has since only been followed by yet further support.

Taking to the comments section of his return post, a whole host of high-profile players have put rivalry to the side, to showcase their backing for the English international.
