Kane heads into the 2022 World Cup as England’s most important player.
He has been in superb form for Tottenham in the Premier League this season. And at the last World Cup, Kane was able to net six goals and fire England to the semi-finals whilst also clinching the Golden Boot.
Now, ahead of Qatar, Louis Saha has stated that if Kane is playing well and can score 5-7 goals, then England will reach the semi-finals:
“Harry Kane’s form is so important for England’s chances at the World Cup. He’s the main striker and if he’s playing well, he’ll score five, six or seven goals. Any team that has a player who scores that number of goals will be in the semi-final,” the Frenchman told Paddy Power.
“Kane is a guarantee anywhere in the world to get goals, championships and lifting trophies. He’s a big player and this season, he’s proved yet again that he is a world class player. “Consistency is key and the number of years he’s remained at the top, everyone has expectations, and he still delivers. He has the armband for England, and he’s been very good for club and country.”
England kick off their World Cup campaign on Monday the 21st of November at 1 pm vs Iran.
