The nightmare evening being endured by Premier League giants Liverpool has only continued to worsen on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp’s troops, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

In the midst of a hugely underwhelming opening to the campaign, the Reds made the trip to the Emirates, hopeful of getting things back on track at the expense of an Arsenal side in the thick of the early-season title race.

When all was said and done, though, once more, Liverpool came up short.

Another alarming defensive display ultimately culminated in the Merseysiders being put to the sword by three goals to two, owing to an early Gabriel Martinelli effort, and an ensuing brace on the part of Bukayo Saka:

And yet, as alluded to above, the woes of this evening’s visitors to north London have only continued to mount post-match.

The player in question? In-form wide-man Luis Diaz.

It now remains to be seen whether or not the Colombian international faces any sort of extended spell on the sidelines.
