Liverpool forward Diogo Jota joined an exclusive club during the Reds’ match with Watford on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool are currently locked in Premier League action with Watford.

The Reds headed into the game sitting second in the English top-flight, knowing a win over the Hornets would, temporarily at least, take them to the Premier League summit.

As for Watford, they began gameweek 30 sat 18th in the Premier League and three points from safety.

Watford also have a pretty dismal defensive record and it was expected that Liverpool would dominate them.

So far, that is proving to be the case. Jurgen Klopp’s side controlled proceedings from the get-go and whilst Watford looked sound defensively early on, the deadlock was eventually broken when Diogo Jota headed in from a Joe Gomez cross:

After scoring Liverpool’s opener on the day, it was revealed that Diogo Jota has joined an exclusive club.

As per Squawka, only four players have scored four-plus goals with their head, right-foot and left-foot in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

These players are Robert Lewandowski, Edin Dzeko, Patrik Schick and now, Diogo Jota:

Jota’s aerial prowess was also highlighted after he netted yet another goal with his head on Saturday:
