The group stages of the 2023/24 Europa League have been confirmed.

The 2023/24 UEFA Europa League group stage draw took place at the Grimaldi Forum, Monaco, on Friday 1 September.

The rules of the draw were as follows:

“In the case of associations with three representatives, only two clubs will be paired.

“In the case of associations with one representative in the UEFA Europa League group stage and one representative in the UEFA Europa Conference League group stage, these clubs will also be paired so that their matches kick off at different times.”

West Ham, meanwhile, secured a place in the competition after winning the Europa Conference League last season.

The Hammers were drawn in Group A alongside Olympiacos, Freiburg and TSC Bačka Topola.

Liverpool were drawn in Group E alongside LASK, Union SG and Toulouse.

Brighton were handed the toughest group, facing off with Ajax, Marseille and AEK Athens in Group B.
