Liverpool tipped to ship Arthur back to Juventus in January
The Brazilian has thus far failed to win over his new manager, according to reports.
Altogether surprise claims regarding the future of Liverpool loanee Arthur Melo have come to the fore on Thursday evening.
Brazilian international Arthur, of course, swapped Turin for Merseyside this summer, after falling heavily out of favour under the watch of Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
With Liverpool’s pursuit of alternative engine room targets having continued to prove fruitless, the decision, in turn, was taken to swoop for Arthur ahead of the summer transfer deadline earlier this month.
The ex-Barcelona talent has since gone on to feature on a solitary occasion for his new side, introduced off the bench late in a Champions League drubbing at the hands of Napoli.
And, if the latest speculation doing the rounds late this evening is anything to go by, then this would appear to come owing to a lack of faith in Arthur’s talents on the part of the powers that be at Anfield.
As per journalist Manu Heredia, Jurgen Klopp has been left altogether underwhelmed by the efforts of the latest addition to his squad during training.
Not only that, but Heredia goes as far as to suggest that, remarkably, Arthur could therefore be shipped back to Italy as early as January.
🚨 Jürgen Klopp is already fed up with Arthur and does not believe he is the level required.
Liverpool are already looking for a way to cut the loan contract short in January.
