Liverpool supporters in collective Jordan Henderson demand during Southampton clash


Liverpool’s fans taken to social media in their numbers on Sunday evening, to send a message to the powers that be at Anfield regarding captain Jordan Henderson.

Jurgen Klopp’s troops, of course, are currently locked in action.

As part of the Premier League’s final day, the Reds have have made the trip to St. Mary’s, for a meeting with bottom-of-the-table Southampton.

Amid a pulsating eight-goal affair thus far, Liverpool find themselves all-square, owing to strikes on the part of all of Diogo Jota (2), Roberto Firmino and Cody Gakpo.

This comes with the Merseysiders, in truth, having little to play for in Hampshire.

As alluded to above, though, despite the meaningless nature of this evening’s fixture, many of a Reds persuasion have nevertheless made their frustrations with one member of Klopp’s squad clear.

The player in question? Jordan Henderson.

After the England international, after being introduced off the bench, saw a needless mistake culminate in Southampton’s 4th of the night, droves of Liverpool supporters swiftly took to social media, to call for Henderson to be moved on ahead of next season:
