The Reds were hammered 4-1 by Napoli in their first group game, but then picked up a 2-1 win over Ajax last time out.
Rangers, meanwhile, were dead bottom of their group after two matches. The Scottish outfit had lost two and scored zero goals vs Napoli and Ajax.
And, at the time of writing, Liverpool are in the lead. The Reds have dominated the tie from the get-go and took an early lead in the match.
Darwin Nunez won a free-kick, which Trent Alexander-Arnold fired in from 25 yards.
As well as winning the free-kick, Nunez has caused Rangers a lot of problems with his pace and power and has been denied twice by two good saves.
