Liverpool sent warning over Ajax danger man

Liverpool have been warned about one Ajax player ahead of the pair’s meeting on Tuesday.

Liverpool will face off with Ajax in a Champions League clash later this evening.

The Reds head into the game in desperate need of a win after suffering an embarrassing 4-1 loss at the hands of Napoli last week.

That result puts Liverpool bottom of their CL group, with another loss on Tuesday potentially detrimental to their hopes of making it into the knockout stages.

Ahead of the game, Liverpool have been sent a warning over one Ajax player.

Speaking to Caught Offside, Fabrizio Romano has warned Liverpool about Kenneth Taylor:

“Ajax’s numbers so far have been excellent, and I think it’s in the club’s DNA to be able to restart after the sales of some top players. Alfred Schreuder is doing a very good job,” Romano said.

Taylor is a product of Ajax’s youth academy, breaking into their senior side last term.

The central midfielder has since become a key cog for the Dutch powerhouse this season so far, netting three and assisting one in six league outings to date.

And given Liverpool are seriously struggling to find the right balance in midfield in 2022/23, Taylor could be a serious threat once again on Tuesday.
