Liverpool are reportedly ramping up their interest in Leeds United winger Raphinha after Barcelona have seemingly been priced out of a move for the Brazilian.

The Reds seem set to lose Sadio Mane this summer, with the Senegalese forward attracting interest from German giants Bayern Munich as he seems ready to call time on his Anfield spell after 7 years on Merseyside.

And, seeking another forward, The Mirror report that Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on Raphinha, with the Leeds man having previously caught the eye of top Premier League sides following a stellar 2020/21 campaign.

12 months on, the Reds are thought to be 'ramping up' their interest in the player who 'fits the bill perfectly for Liverpool's high energy style under Klopp'.

And, according to the report, they may be willing to offer Japanese forward Takumi Minamino in part exchange for the Brazilian, a man that the Yorkshire side have had an eye on and who excelled at RB Salzburg under Jesse Marsch's tutelage.

Barcelona priced out

Amid the financial woes of Barcelona, unless they sell an asset such as Frenkie De Jong, it seems unlikely that the Blaugrana will be able to stump up the 55m euros that Leeds are demanding following their Premier League survival.

With the added aim to push a deal for Robert Lewandowski over the line at the Camp Nou, it seems as though Liverpool could yet steal a march on the Spanish club for the Leeds wide man.
