Liverpool assistant boss, Pep Lijnders, has revealed that Trent Alexander-Arnold was back training yesterday.
The Reds face Leicester City in the EFL Cup on Wednesday and then Spurs in the league on Saturday.
Trent’s return would provide a major boost for Klopp who was forced to play Joe Gomez at right-back.
Pep Lijnders said: “Trent trained yesterday with us but it was just in the rondo and the ball possession with the counter-pressing.”
Meanwhile, Thiago Alcântara remains sidelined for a few more weeks with a groin injury.
Lijnders added: “(He) is in a good way, the healing process is going well so that’s the most important thing at this moment.”
