Liverpool and Arsenal send scouts to watch Jude Bellingham alternative with just £32m release clause

The two Premier League giants are among the interest parties

Liverpool and Arsenal scouts were both present during PSV’s 3-0 win over reigning Champions Ajax in the Eredivisie as they eyed up midfielder Ibrahim Sangare ahead of the summer transfer window.

Jude Bellingham is the golden goose midfielder this summer, but is likely to join one of Manchester City or Real Madrid, with Liverpool having pulled out of the race and Arsenal never in it.

However, both sides are in desperate need of midfield additions, with Liverpool having seen their central areas ruthlessly exploited this season as the ageing legs of James Milner and Jordan Henderson struggle to keep up with the intensity of the Premier League.

They are thought to be keen on Mason Mount, while Alexis Mac Allister, Moises Caicedo and Matheus Nunes are also under consideration.

Arsenal, meanwhile, saw three bids for Douglas Luiz rejected on deadline day in the summer, and another three turned down for Moises Caicedo in January, with midfield clearly a key area they feel needs strengthening following an impressive season.

And, as per 90min, both sides are among those keen on midfielder Sangare, who has been a key part of PSV Eindhoven’s title charge in the Netherlands, while the Ivorian also caught Arsenal’s eye during his time at Toulouse.

Predominantly a defensive-minded midfielder, the 25-year-old has also popped up with four goals and an assist in 26 outings in the Dutch top flight.

And 90min add that Sangare is ‘ready to test himself in the Premier League’, while ‘PSV are open to cashing in while his value remains as high as possible.’

Should he be able to replicate his PSV form in the Premier League, he could prove a snip.
