Lionel Messi sets alarm bells ringing ahead of PSG’s showdown with Bayern Munich

Ballon d’Or holder and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Lionel Messi has sparked major concern in France’s capital late on Thursday.

This comes amid widespread confirmation that the Argentine is suffering with an injury problem.

Beyond this, his participation on the European front is viewed as being altogether up in the air, too, ahead of a crunch Champions League Last-16 first-leg meeting with German heavyweights Bayern Munich next Tuesday.

Such a miss would mark nothing short of a hammer blow for PSG boss Galtier, who is already being forced to navigate a crucial stretch of the term without the services of frontman Kylian Mbappe.
