Chelsea’s financial position has left them vulnerable to exploitation by other clubs around Europe, but for now that seems to be on a backburner as their fringe players are targetted by European giants.
According to Italian outlet Tuttosport, Juventus are keen on bringing Italian pair Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri to Turin in the summer, as they look to rebuild a deteriorating squad.
The Old Lady have struggled this season, and have already been forced to splash out on Dusan Vlahovic in January in a bid to propel them up the table.
However, it is in midfield that most work needs doing- Aaron Ramsey and Rodrigo Bentancur both departed in January, while Adrien Rabiot, Weston McKennie and Arthur have flattered to deceive this season.

And, according to Tuttosport, ‘Jorginho is the player who would best complete the [midfield] department: experience, direction, flexibility.’
Meanwhile, cover and competition for Alex Sandro could be sought in the form of Emerson, who is currently on loan away from Chelsea and could see a permanent move come to fruition in the summer.

As per reports in Spain, Barca are also lining up moves for veteran pair Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso in the summer, with the potential financial changes at Chelsea making a deal for Alonso possible.
Mundo Deportivo report that ‘in principle, his [Alonso’s] transfer was unaffordable, but depending on what happens with Chelsea, he is a name that has always been on the BarΓ§a agenda’.
Of course, given the fluidity of the situation, it is impossible to know just what will happen in West London this summer, but already the vultures are circling.
