Joao Felix’s Barcelona ‘dream’ revealed

An insight into the current mindset of Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix has been provided late on Saturday evening.

The subject of Felix’s future has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines in Spain’s capital once more over the course of recent weeks.

This comes after Premier League giants Chelsea opted against making their loan move for the Portuguese international a permanent one.

Felix, in turn, has been left with little choice but to link back up with parent club Atletico.

And though head coach Diego Simeone has made clear that he has every intention of welcoming the talented attacker back into his ranks, speculation has nevertheless continued to swirl surrounding a fresh departure.

Just this week, both Manchester United and Aston Villa have been tipped to bring Felix back to England.

The landing spot in question? Barcelona.

As per a report from Spanish journalist Manu Sainz, Felix’s ‘desire’ is to take his talents to the Camp Nou.

In fact, Sainz goes as far as to claim that the former Benfica starlet views a Barcelona switch as his personal ‘impossible dream’.
