How Richarlison publically called out Antonio Conte for his bewildering treatment

Richarlison did not hold back on Antonio Conte after he was dropped for Tottenham’s Champions League exit...

Richarlison’s time in north London has been incredibly tricky.

Following his £60 million move from Everton, the forward has just two goals to his name from 25 appearances.

But his game time has been very sporadic and he’s been in and out of the team, regardless of how he performs.

Last night, he found himself again on the bench despite having started in Spurs’ last win, which was a 2-0 victory over Chelsea.

The Brazilian’s frustration came pouring out after the game as he hit out at Antonio Conte for his lack of minutes.

Richarlison: “This season has been s**t, I don’t get enough minutes!”

The Brazilian admitted that the season has been hugely disappointing for him.

But having failed to keep his place in the team, his dream move has descended into a bit of a nightmare.

His comments after Spurs’ Champions League exit at the hands of AC Milan reveal just how livid he is with his treatment.

Richarlison said: “I played 2 good games in the wins vs West Ham and Chelsea and suddenly I was dropped to the bench again and against Wolves I played only 5 minutes.

“I asked them why and they didn’t say anything.

“Yesterday they sent me to the gym for some tests, and told me that depending on the results I was going to start today.

“But then they put me on the bench. There are things I don’t understand. And they didn’t really explain to me why.

“Let’s see what he’ll say tomorrow. But also there’s no fool here. I’m professional and I work hard as well everyday and I want to play. There’s been very little game time.

“This season has been… sorry for the word, but this season has been s**t, because I don’t have enough minutes.

“I know I’ve had injuries, but every time I play I put my life on it, I had 2 good games, especially against Chelsea where I played the full 90 minutes and we won.”
