Highlights: Son tees up Kane double to guide Tottenham past Rangers

Conte’s main man were firing on all cylinders on Saturday

Fresh footage of star attackers Harry Kane and Heung-min Son combining to devastating effect will no doubt bring a collective smile to the faces of the Tottenham Hotspur faithful on Saturday.

Antonio Conte’s troops, of course, were back in action a short time ago.

Amid ongoing efforts to step up preparations for the fast-approaching new campaign, the Lilywhites made the trip to Ibrox, for a meeting with Scottish heavyweights Rangers.

Spurs headed into proceedings eyeing a return to winning ways, after being held to a 1-1 stalemate by Sevilla last time out.

And, when all was said and done, get their pre-season form back on track is precisely what the capital outfit managed.

It was actually Rangers who opened the scoring on the day, when summer arrival Antonio Colak opened his account in the colours of the Gers, courtesy of a close range strike.

Visitors Tottenham, though, were soon back on level terms, when Harry Kane latched onto a pass from attacking partner in crime Heung-min Son, to bend a sumptuous finish into the far top corner:

And the turnaround was complete a short time later, in the process rounding out the goalscoring in Glasgow.

That man Kane proved the difference-maker once more, on this occasion taking a defence-splitting pass from the aforementioned Son in his stride, before directing a characteristically pinpoint driven strike home at the near post:
