Heung-min Son offers verdict on Tottenham’s latest signings

Tottenham star Heung-min Son has been speaking about the club’s latest additions.

The Lilywhites signed both Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur during the 2022 January transfer window.

Since then, the pair have settled in with ease, especially Kulusevski, who has scored two and assisted four in nine Premier League outings to date.

Now, when speaking about their duo recently, Son had this to say: "I'm really enjoying playing alongside them.

“They obviously came here from having been playing in one of the best teams in the world, so they have great experience, and they bring so much positive energy," said Son.

"They have a great work rate and a great attitude, which is always needed. Both of them are doing really well, so I hope that continues. They support us so well as a team and I want to help them as well to fully settle in the Premier League and at Tottenham."

Son on Tottenham’s form

Son would also discuss Tottenham’s inconsistent form:

"We have had ups and downs recently. Football, of course, is always about results and there will always be some disappointment because sometimes we can do much better, but we are moving in the right way," he said in an interview in Spurs' matchday programme. "We are improving and of course there is still a lot of room to improve further - when we watch match clips and videos back with the video analysts, there is always more we can work on.”

The Lilywhites have now won four of their last five league ties, a run that has seen them move up to 5th in the Premier League.

However, losses to the likes of Burnley and Southampton recently means Antonio Conte’s side are at a disadvantage when it comes to fighting for 4th.

They are currently three points behind Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, who have a game in hand on their city rivals.
