Good news for Everton: Massive boost revealed in side v Leicester

Coleman returns

Everton have received a huge injury boost to their side after the club confirmed their starting lineup for this evenings game against Leicester City.

The Toffees will face off against the former Premier League champions this evening and it has been confirmed that Seamus Coleman starts.

The Irishman suffered a horrible injury over 12 months ago in an international friendly against Wales.

Aston Villa’s Neil Taylor was the player who tackled Coleman, leading to a double leg break and a lengthy layoff.

Though, the player featured in a U23’s game last week, playing around 70 minutes during a win.

Now, Big Sam has trusted in the player and his fitness by throwing him straight into the starting lineup.

It comes in a must-win game for the Toffees as they sit only 5 points above the relegation and in very poor form.

Unable to score consistently, Sam Allardyce brought in both Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun.

The former starts the game while the latter has incredibly been dropped in favour of Oumar Niasse.

On the other side of the pitch, there is some equally as interesting team news.

No Mahrez

Leicester City’s wantaway star Riyad Mahrez is nowhere to be seen in their squad to face Everton.

The Algerian has been the subject of bids from Manchester City and reportedly went awol today.

Now, there is no sign of him in the squad, even though his deal to leave for Man City has fallen through.

Everton close in on deadline day move for Manchester City star

While Everton are playing tonight, they also have one eye on the transfer market.

That is because the reports claim that the Toffees are close to signing one Manchester City star.

He would likely go straight into their starting side for the weekend too.
