Fulham team news and predicted XI vs Manchester City

Fulham Team News

  • Out: Aleksandar Mitrović, Layvin Kurzawa, Harry Wilson
  • Doubt: Willian

Once in with a chance of qualifying for Europe next season, Marco Silva’s Fulham now sits nine points adrift of the top six and must count on a considerable amount of help from those around them in the table if they are to have a hope or a prayer of returning to continental competition.

The arduous task of clashing with Manchester City awaits after Pep Guardiola’s men gave table-topping Arsenal a lesson in how to conduct yourself in a title race when they pelted Mikel Arteta’s outfit 4-1 at the Etihad. The Gunners will be hopeful that the Cottagers can pull a result out of their magic hat on Sunday in the capital, but Silva will remain without Serbian star Aleksandar Mitrović who remains out due to suspension.

Silva will also be without Layvin Kurzawa and Harry Wilson, with Wilson coming off against Aston Villa on account of illness and thus likely to not be risked. Brazilian veteran Willian missed the clash against Unai Emery’s men after suffering a hamstring problem in the warm-up and is listed as a doubt on the back of it.
