The most noteworthy takeaway from the latest fixture announcement on the part of the Premier League surrounds Tottenham.

The Lilywhites’ clash with Everton has been moved to a late kick-off on Friday the 16th of April.

Spurs will then be back in action once again on Wednesday the 21st of April, after their meeting with Southampton was moved to a 6:00 PM UK time kick-off.

FPL news: Tottenham set for double gameweek next month following amendment to April fixtures

LONDON, ENGLAND – JANUARY 02: Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur celebrates with teammate Son Heung-Min of Tottenham Hotspur after scoring their team’s first goal from the penalty spot during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on January 02, 2021 in London, England. The match will be played without fans, behind closed doors as a Covid-19 precaution. (Photo by Tottenham Hotspur FC/Tottenham Hotspur FC via Getty Images)

Such changes may seem fairly inconsequential to most. However, if you are a Fantasy Premier League fan, it is huge news, as Tottenham are now set for a double gameweek in week 32 of the season:

The majority of Spurs’ players have underwhelmed FPL managers this season. However, both Harry Kane and Heung-min Son have been superb.

Kane is currently the top forward on Fantasy Football, whilst Son is the second-best midfielder, behind only Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes.

So, adding the Tottenham duo to one side’s for GW32 looks a smart option.
