Premier League outfit Everton are considering a January swoop for a key member of the attacking setup at Blackburn Rovers, according to reports.
The player understood to be in the sights of the Toffees? Ben Brereton Diaz.
It should, of course, come as little surprise to hear of the powers that be at Goodison Park setting their sights firmly on reinforcements in the attacking third with a view to the 2nd half of the campaign.
This comes with Frank Lampard’s troops having racked up a paltry haul of just 11 league goals across the season to date.
Following the departure of star man Richarlison, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has continued to struggle for fitness, whilst summer addition Neal Maupay has gone on to find the net on just a solitary occasion.

And the aforementiond Diaz, it would appear, has been identified as one potential solution to such woes.
The Blues, who were also tipped as a potential landing spot for the Chilean international during the summer, are ready to take advantage of Diaz’s contract situation at Ewood Park, ahead of the expiration of his current terms in 2023.
🗞️Everton are considering reviving interest in Blackburn Forward, Ben Brereton Díaz this January Transfer Window. Díaz’s contract expires this coming summer.
