Erling Haaland joins Zlatan Ibrahimovic in exclusive 4-man club with latest Man City goal

The 22-year-old’s historic start to life in sky blue continued this evening

Manchester City star Erling Haaland has, on Tuesday, continued to etch his name into the history books of European football.

The name of Norwegian sensation Haaland, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines over the course of the last couple of weeks.

This comes with the summer arrival at the Etihad having enjoyed the most remarkable of starts to life in City colours.

Across his first six Premier League appearances, Haaland has racked up 10 (yes, TEN) goals, to establish himself as the runaway early frontrunner for the Golden Boot in England’s top-flight.

In turn, it hasn’t come as a massive surprise to see the Sky Blues’ goalscoring sensation, tonight, carry his form onto the European stage.

Pep Guardiola’s troops are currently locked in action in Spain, in the club’s Champions League group stage opener against Sevilla.

City are in possession of a three-goal advantage at present, cruising towards yet another comfortable victory.

And Haaland, for his part, has added his name to the scoresheet on a pair of occasions, to take his season tally to 12 goals in just seven appearances.

Not only that, but, in the process, the Norwegian prodigy etched his name into the history books, too.

This came as Haaland became just the 4th player in Champions League history to find the net in his first appearance in the competition with three different clubs, after Fernando Morientes, Javier Saviola, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
