Ajax director and ex-Manchester United star Edwin van der Sar has taken to social media on Saturday night, to unveil a heartfelt message for Antony.
Wide-man Antony, of course, finally sealed a long-awaited move to England earlier this week.
On the back of a saga spanning almost the entirety of the summer, the Brazilian international was granted his wish, in reuniting with former boss Erik ten Hag at Premier League giants Manchester United.
Antony’s move came as part of a club-record deal for Ajax, with the Dutch champions understood to have pocketed a sum in the region of £86 million for their star attacker.

Safe to say, the pressure is therefore very much on for the 22-year-old to perform with his new club.
And, as alluded to above, one individual synonymous with ongoings at both Old Trafford and The Johan Cruyff Arena has, today, wished Antony the best of luck in his efforts towards exactly that.
The post in question, which also acts as a thank you to Antony for his efforts in Amsterdam, can be seen in full below:
Thanks for the memories and showing your joy for football in our Ajax shirt, @antony00. We enjoyed it, now it’s time to entertain Manchester. All the best there alongside Erik, Donny and Licha! 🙌 https://t.co/4rEh2wziIg
