Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga has, late on Saturday, piqued attentions across the fanbase of Premier League table-toppers Arsenal.
The name of midfield prodigy Camavinga has of course found its place front and centre in the headlines across Europe over the course of the last 24 hours.
This comes after the French international was tipped for a shock January move to the aforementioned Arsenal.
Amid the ongoing efforts of the powers that be at the Emirates to aid boss Mikel Arteta’s title push, securing reinforcements in the middle of the park have emerged as something of a priority this month.
Camavinga, amid a hit-and-miss season in Spain to date, in turn, was this week identified as one altogether outlandish loan target.
Drawn on the subject of a potential January exit for his side’s gifted midfield starlet on Friday evening, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, though, was quick to play the subject down.
“We will not let Camavinga leave, he’s untouchable — like Modrić and Toni Kroos,” the Italian assured.
And yet, late on Saturday, the Arsenal faithful have had their hopes of a shock Camavinga capture boosted once more, by none other than the Frenchman himself.
This comes with Camavinga having taken to Instagram, to place a ‘like’ on a post linking him with a move to north London:
