Eddie Howe has been speaking to the media on Friday ahead of Newcastle’s clash with Norwich.
The Magpies take on Norwich on Saturday in a 3 pm kick-off. Ahead of the game, Howe has confirmed that they may freshen their side up for the match:
“We may freshen things up,” Howe said. “We’ll look at it on an individual basis but we want players that are 100% fit & ready to give their best again physically. We’ve had a big physical effort so we need to be ready.”

Newcastle head into the game with Norwich as clear favourites. The North East outfit have been a side transformed following the arrival of Howe and a £90m spend in January.
As a result, Howe was asked about matching the former Newcastle boss on Friday: “It’s a brilliant thing to be able to do but we’ve got a long way to get anywhere near his achievements at this club, he said. It’s nice to be able to have done what we’ve done to this point, knowing the great man did so much for this football club.”
