Denmark and Slovenia meet in Munich tonight with all to play for in Euro 2024 Group C.

Team News

Denmark impressed last time out against England, earning a 1-1 draw in a match they dominated for long spells. Therefore, it was no surprise that coach Kasper Hjulmand made just one chance to his starting XI with Alexander Bah coming in for Rasmus Kristensen, who was at fault for England’s goal scored by Harry Kane.

Serbia coach Dragan Stojkovic made three changes with Filip Mladenović, Dušan Vlahović and Dusan Tadic all dropping out. In came Srdan Mijailovic – making his first appearance for the national team in 12 years – alongside Lazar Samardzic and Nemanja Gudelj.

The State of the Group

Both sides need a win to be certain of advancing from Group C. Denmark have taken two points from draws with Slovenia and England. Another draw may be enough for them to advance a third-place finisher.

Serbia have little option but to go for the win. Stojkovic’s men drew with Slovenia last time out, their solitary point after an opening 1-0 defeat to England.
