West Ham United head coach David Moyes has, late on Saturday, provided an update on the wellbeing of key defender Kurt Zouma.
This comes after the former Chelsea man was forced off during the Irons’ latest outing.
Moyes and co. marked their return to action this afternoon, making the short trip to south London for a derby day meeting with Crystal Palace.
En route to an eventual 4-3 defeat, however, Zouma lasted less than 20 minutes, before limping off to be replaced by Angelo Ogbonna.

Speaking to the media on the back of proceedings at Selhurst Park coming to a close, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of his defensive stalwart’s wellbeing was put to the aforementioned David Moyes.
And West Ham’s boss went on to reveal that Zouma has indeed picked up an ankle injury, culminating in notable post-match swelling.
Moyes. ‘It looked like he’s gone over on his ankle, his ankle has swollen up at the moment. We will get him checked in the morning tomorrow with a scan.’ https://t.co/cckOHhGs0b#WHUFC https://t.co/kC3G3HpfNM
