Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo has, late on Thursday, publicly responded to the departure of now-former head coach Rudi Garcia.
For those who may have missed it, a long-rumoured change on the bench at Saudi giants Al-Nassr was made official earlier today.
After his side’s disappointing goalless stalemate with Al Feiha last weekend culminated in Riyadh-based giants slipping three points off the pace atop the Roshn Saudi League, speculation had since been rampant that the aforementioned Garcia’s job was no longer safe.
In turn, it came as little surprise when, a short time ago, Al-Nassr unveiled a statement, confirming that the former AS Roma and Marseille headmaster had been sent on his way.
AlNassr can announce that Head Coach Rudi Garcia has left the Club by mutual agreement.

And now, as alluded to above, the headline member of Garcia’s former squad has responded to his exit.
Amid suggestions that he may have had a role to play in the sacking of another manager, Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media, to send a message of farewell to the Frenchman.
“Pleasure to have worked with you. Wishing you all the best for the future.”
