Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Cancelo incident explained

An insight into the vide that emerged of Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Cancelo has been provided.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Joao Cancelo have linked up with Portugal for the 2022 World Cup.

Portugal get their 2022 World Cup campaign underway against Ghana on November 24 before taking on Uruguay (November 28) and South Korea (December 2).

Ronaldo heads into the tournament as the top goalscorer in international history and will be eager to lift the trophy in what is potentially his last chance to do so.

Ahead of Portugal getting their campaign underway, though, a strange clip of CR7 and Cancelo emerged on Tuesday.

In the video shown below, Ronaldo aggressively puts his hand on Cancelo’s shoulder and the Manchester City left-back appears angry:

However, new footage has emerged that gives more context to the above clip.

The video shows Cancelo was already angry after trying to win the ball back from Joao Felix.

After fouling the forward, Cancelo reacted by smashing the ball away.

Aware that his teammate was annoyed, Ronaldo walked over to check if Cancelo was ok:
