Dejan Kulusevski has suffered a setback in his return from injury, according to Antonio Conte.

The Swede has missed Tottenham’s last four matches with a thigh injury.

The winger looked set to return on the weekend but that has now been delayed.

Conte: β€œI think we need to have a bit of patience”

The Italian manager has warned that he will not be taking any risks with Kulusevski.

The 22-year-old picked up the knock during the last international break.

A return against Everton looked possible with the player having been back in training this week, although he has since suffered a setback.

β€œI think we need to have a bit of patience. Don’t take stupid risks.

β€œAt this moment he’s not 100% sure to be really fit and in perfect condition.

β€œIt’s important to respect the opinion of the doctors on the player.

Asked about whether or not he will be back to face Manchester United, Conte replied: β€œIn this moment honestly, it’s a bit difficult to answer yes or no.
