Frank Lampard has a whole host of injuries to contend with, as the Blues continue to struggle this season.
Benoit Badiashile is the latest to be sidelined, with the Frenchman set to be sidelined for four months with a groin injury and likely to miss the beginning of next season.
Marc Cucurella and N’Golo Kante are also sidelined with hamstring issues, while Mateo Kovacic has not been spotted since picking up an injury a fortnight ago.
‘I know he had a bit of an issue going into the game”, Lampard explained after the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest. ‘It was clear yesterday in training. I spoke to him before to see how it went. I haven’t followed it up since the game, to be honest. We hope he’s OK.’
Joao Felix could also be out, with Frank Lampard confirming that the forward had picked up a knock and is a doubt for the trip to Old Trafford.
