Chelsea star responds to claims of personal trainer being banned from club grounds

Chelsea star Trevoh Chalobah has taken to social media on Friday evening, to respond to claims of his fitness trainer being banned from the club’s grounds.

For those not aware, the name of defender Chalobah has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in west London across the week to date.

This comes after a series of messages, alleged to have come from the phone of the 24-year-old’s personal trainer, were made public online.

In the texts in question, Ed Hodge provided an insight into the injury crisis facing Mauricio Pochettino’s squad at present, essentially blaming the coaching staff at Cobham for the ‘mess’ they have created.

The fresh drama has since been met with understandable derision on the part of the Chelsea fanbase, many of whom have taken firm aim at Chalobah.

This comes amid murmurs, albeit unfounded, that the stopper is purposely leaking information, after being all but frozen out of the first-team setup at Stamford Bridge.

Taking to his social media accounts on Friday evening, the former England youth international hit back at the week’s widespread media claims, adamant that, in fact, the aforementioned Hodge ‘is not my PT’:
