A fresh insight into the plans of the powers that be at Premier League giants Chelsea, amid the club’s ongoing search for a new manager, has been provided on Friday.

The subject of the situation on the bench at Stamford Bridge, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the media headlines for several weeks now.

This comes after the Chelsea board opted to dismiss a 2nd manager of the season – Graham Potter following Thomas Tuchel out the door on the back of a dismal stretch of form.

Frank Lampard, in turn, has since been appointed on an interim basis for the remainder of the term.

Come the summer, though, the efforts of Todd Boehly and co. to find a long-term solution to Chelsea’s managerial woes will begin once more.

And, as alluded to above, on Friday, an insight into the details of such plans has been provided.

The coaches in question? Luis Enrique and Julian Nagelsmann.

The latter is currently viewed as the frontrunner for the post, following his surprise exit from German champions Bayern Munich, though many of a Chelsea persuasion appear to favour the experience brought to the table by former Barcelona and Spain boss Enrique.
