Chelsea loan watch: Maatsen, Anjorin, Slonina and more

How those away from Stamford Bridge got on this week

Six Chelsea loanees featured over the weekend across four different divisions, with plenty more set to step into action next weekend.

101 rounds up just how they got on away from Stamford Bridge.

Ian Maatsen

Maatsen enjoyed another strong performance for Championship side Burnley, making a team-high 14 ball recoveries as his side drew 1-1 with Luton Town.

Tino Anjorin

Tino Anjorin started for Huddersfield Town but was taken off in the second half and could not prevent the Terriers from losing 2-1 to Birmingham City, leaving them without a point from their opening two games.

Gabriel Slonina

New boy Gabriel Slonina conceded twice, but ended up on the winning side as his Chicago Fire team came from behind to win 3-2 against FC Charlotte in the MLS.

Jamie Cumming

Cumming started in goal for MK Dons but could not prevent his side from falling to a 1-0 defeat, courtesy of a first-half penalty, which has left the Dons on zero points after two games.

Lucas Bergstrom

Lucas Bergstrom played the full 90 minutes in goal for Peterborough Town as they recorded a simple 3-0 win at home to Morecambe, with the stopper having little do do against the Shrimps to continue his side’s perfect record.

Sam McClelland

Talented centre-back Sam McClelland came on as a first-half substitute for League Two side Barrow AFC as they recorded a 96th-minute winner to scrape a 3-2 win over Bradford City.
