Chelsea’s supporters have taken to social media in numbers on Sunday evening, to make their frustrations with a key member of the club’s frontline known once more.
Frank Lampard’s troops, of course, were back in action a short time ago.
Fresh off another disappointing result last time out, the Blues made the daunting trip to The Etihad, hopeful of taking advantage of a heavily rotated Manchester City outfit fresh off sealing Premier League glory.
When all was said and done, however, once more, the efforts of Lampard and co. came up short.
This came as a solitary Julian Alvarez strike inside the opening quarter of an hour proved enough to guide hosts City to the right side of a 1-0 result.

On the back of another altogether underwhelming evening’s work for their side, in turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of the Chelsea faithful continuing to make their grievances known.
None, however, have been more widely targeted than frontman Kai Havertz, with just some of the highlights from across Twitter showcased below:
How do we really still employ Kai Havertz.

2 fouls, an offside, and yellow in 15 mins, Havertz bingo completed in record time

Kai Havertz should not start for Chelsea. He has no passion for the club. Overrated

Havertz should be playing in Bundesliga 3

Could someone please explain to me what is the ideal system for Kai Havertz to shine in ?????

Created quite a few chances, nearly impossible when you have Havertz as your main man. Same problem as all season & honestly should be one of the first names on the market this summer. #CFC

Pulisic comes on for 5 minutes and has more impact than Havertz/Sterling, no surprise

Good to see Kai Havertz coming to the end of the season illustrating once again how valuable a relentless goalscoring machine can be to a team.
