An update on the wellbeing of Chelsea star Denis Zakaria has been forthcoming late on Sunday.
For those not aware, midfielder Zakaria set pulses racing across the Chelsea fanbase earlier this week.
This came upon the Swiss international – on loan from Italian giants Juventus – limping out of the club’s eventual defeat at the hands of capital rivals Fulham.
Zakaria had only recently begun to establish himself as a regular feature in Graham Potter’s midfield rotation, earning widespread praise for stepping up to the plate whilst so many around him continued to wilt.
Speaking to the media on Sunday evening, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of the wellbeing of his on-loan star was put to Potter himself.
The news, though, unfortunately from a Chelsea perspective, proved far from positive.

Zakaria, of course, joins a whole host of key performers on the treatment table in west London, with the likes of Reece James, Ben Chilwell, N’Golo Kante, Raheem Sterling and Wesley Fofana out of action at present, too.
