Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea etched their names into the Premier League win column at the third time of asking on Friday, at the expense of Luton Town.

For those who may have missed it, the Blues marked their return to action a short time ago.

After clinching just a solitary point from an available six across the first two gameweeks of the English top-flight season, Chelsea welcomed the aforementioned Luton to Stamford Bridge, desperate for a three-point haul.

And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what they managed, in style.

Raheem Sterling proved himself the star of the show, kicking the scoring into gear in west London courtesy of a moment of individual brilliance:

And the former Manchester City man was back at it again midway through the 2nd-half, slotting home a pinpoint finish after being teed up by Malo Gusto:

And this was how things remained through the full-time whistle, on a night which saw both Chelsea’s undoubted quality highlighted, and Luton’s alarming shortcomings laid bare.
