An insight into the future of Lionel Messi has been provided on Monday.
Messi is currently on the books of PSG. The French outfit crashed out of the Champions League at the Round of 16 stage last week, blowing a 2-0 lead against Real Madrid.
Following PSG’s failure in Europe, Messi and Neymar were booed heavily during the Parisian outfit’s last match vs Bordeaux over the weekend.

Lionel Messi back to Barcelona?
After this, speculation has swirled that Messi and Neymar could be set to depart PSG in the summer.
On the Neymar front he, along with Sergio Ramos, is said to be considering his future in Paris:

According to Spanish outlet Sport, despite the rumours of contact between Messi’s father and Joan Laporta, Sport state that this approach has not taken place.
And whilst exiting the Champions League has been a ‘hard stick’ for Messi, the South American does not intend to leave the French capital in a hurry to return to Barcelona, and is aiming to stay with PSG until the end of his contract.
Messi is, however, said to want to return to Barcelona to live, but the chances of that happening this summer are described as ‘nil’.
