Viewers of this evening’s Champions League final have taken to social media in their numbers, to take aim at BT Sport commentator Steve McManaman.
The headline fixture of the European season, of course, is currently playing out in Istanbul.
Amid an ongoing pursuit of a historic treble, Manchester City are locked in action with Italian giants Inter Milan, in the finale of the Champions League.
As things stand late in the action at the Ataturk Stadium, it is Pep Guardiola’s troops who boast the advantage, owing to a fine finish on the part of midfielder Rodri:

As alluded to above, though, on the back of Rodri’s strike finding the net, many a neutral fan across the globe were left feeling altogether disgruntled.
This came owing to the efforts of the commentary team at broadcaster BT Sport.
Check out just some of the furious reaction from across social media below:
I can’t stand McManaman he’s dreadful he really is.

I can’t be the only one that is fed up of Steve McManaman referring to all of the city players by their first name.

Steve McManaman can’t even hide his joy as that hit the net, pathetic bias from BT Sport.
