‘Bench them’: Chelsea fans single out duo for criticism during Manchester City clash

Manchester City and Chelsea are currently locked in FA Cup action at the Etihad Stadium.

The two English powerhouses met earlier this week in the Premier League with Man City coming out on top.

And at the time of writing, Pep Guardiola’s side are on course for a second victory over the Blues in less than a week.

Chelsea started fairly well but Manchester City took control of the tie shortly after the 10-minute mark.

Cole Palmer came close to scoring when he was slipped in by Aymeric Laporte.

Lewis Hall then committed a foul near the edge of the Chelsea box, allowing Riyad Mahrez to step up and make it 1-0 from a free-kick after 23 minutes.

At present, two Chelsea players – Mason Mount and Kai Havertz – have been receiving a lot of criticism for their displays in the game so far:
