Barcelona star Pedri opens up on his relationship with Gavi

Barcelona star Pedri has opened up on his relationship with fellow midfielder, Gavi.

The pair are just two of countless young talents currently on Barca’s books and, under Xavi Hernandez’s guidance, they are expected to be the future of La Blaugrana’s midfield.

Both Pedri and Gavi’s quality was on full display on Sunday evening vs Levante. The latter was brought on after 57 minutes and, just six minutes later, danced past two defenders before playing a ball to Pedri who hit his effort first time past the Levante keeper:

After combining for that goal, Pedri was asked about his relationship with Gavi post-match and had this to say: "Gavi? He has a lot of quality... the intensity that he puts into games and training is crazy. I hope he continues like this because I have a great relationship with him."

Barcelona vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Barcelona must now turn their attention towards Europe. The Catalonian powerhouse are set to face off with Eintracht Frankfurt in the second of two Europa league quarter-final games this coming Thursday.

The first clash, which played out in Germany, saw the sides play out a 1-1 draw.

So, as away goals no longer count in European competitions, Barcelona do have a small advantage heading into the second leg at the Camp Nou.
