According to sensational reports emerging from Spanish outlets, Barcelona have a keen interest in Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes as they look to rebuild their defence this summer.
The Blaugrana have already secured the signing of Andreas Christensen on a free transfer when his contract expires at Chelsea this summer, while Eric Garcia joined on a free from Manchester City last summer.
Meanwhile, there is an expectation that Ronald Araujo will sign a new deal at the Camp Nou, keeping him at the club until 2026.

Beyond that, there is also the veteran Gerard Pique, as well as Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti. Where Gabriel would fit in is questionable.
However, as per the report, Xavi is on the lookout for a left-footed left centre-back and will look to offload both Umtiti and Lenglet in the summer, as he targets reinforcements.

Goalkeeper Neto, midfielder Riqui Puig and forward Memphis Depay have all been mentioned as potential makeweights in the deal, but while Arsenal have previously had interest in those players mentioned, it seems a far cry from their transfer policy of the past 12 months.
Gabriel has become a mainstay of Arsenal’s defence, and seems unlikely to move on just 2 years after joining the club from Lille, having formed a strong partnership with Ben White.
But, with William Saliba set to come back and challenge for a place, should he lose out he may be looking to move on.
